What a four-day weekend in Bermuda actually looks like — landings, welcome dinners, sails, and the morning after.
A wedding in Bermuda is rarely a single day. Most couples plan for at least three, and the better ones plan for four. The work is in the rhythm — when guests arrive, when they slow down, when they go home with sand still on their shoes.
Thursday — the landing
The first flights from JFK and Logan touch down by mid-afternoon. We greet the welcome bags at the front desk, walk hosts through their rooms, and confirm the welcome dinner table count one final time.
Friday — the welcome
A leisurely morning, an afternoon at the beach club, and an early-evening welcome reception that ends before midnight. We send guests home with a gentle plan for tomorrow.
Saturday — the wedding
Hair and makeup begins at 11. First look at 3:30. Ceremony at 5:15. Cocktails on the lawn, dinner under the trees, dancing until the band runs out of horns.
Sunday — the long brunch
The day after is sacred. A long, late brunch, sometimes by the pool, sometimes on a boat. Guests leave Bermuda with a sense of the place. That is the goal.
